Group Reporting in Juvenile Probation

Abstract

Experiences of a juvenile probation department with group reporting indicate that it has advantages over individual report ing. Descriptions of some techniques and processes are offered with the suggestions that probation officers without special train ing can conduct this kind of group effectively and that the pro bation officer's position of authority, contrary to traditional be lief, adds to the therapeutic process.
