Abstract
Although time-sharing is by no means a panacea for the hotel operator's all-too-frequent problem of underutilized capacity, it can contribute to a smoothing of seasonal peaks and valleys in occupancy. The author intro duces the time-sharing concept and presents a proposal for disentangling the imbroglio that currently characterizes time-sharing regulation.
