These three photographs show Abe Feder demonstrating the glow of three different light sources. Top: The mercury lamps, which make bluish shadows. Middle: The Lucalox sodium-vapor lamps which give a brighter light with a yellow glow. Bottom: The fluorescent lamps which produce a colder light than incandescent bulbs.
Mr. Feder has conducted his "Dialogue With Light" on several university campuses, including Colorado, Utah, Carnegie-Mel lon, and Springer Opera at Columbus, Ga.
