Abstract
Centralized distribution centers are being es tablished across the country to meet the needs of the food service industry for simplified pur chasing, delivery, and financing of purchases. The warehousing and trucking of frozen foods requires high investment, so that the distributor providing a complete product line is in a better position to render service. This article, based on an address delivered by Mr. Beyer at Stage VI, Food Systems of the Future, is the case history of one well-known distributor. — Ed.
