Abstract
Edward Collins Bursk is a professor in the Har vard School of Business and is editor of the Har vard Business Review. Among the publications he has edited are: Thinking Ahead in Business, Getting Things Done in Business, How to In crease Executive Effectiveness, The Management Team, and Planning the Future Strategy for your Business. The following article is based on an address given by Professor Bursk before the AH&MA Convention in San Francisco on De cember 1, 1966.
