Abstract
THIS report of developments abroad in the hotel and restaurant industry represents a continuation of news solicited from the School's alumni and friends.
It is evident that some areas of the world have had overbuilding of hotels to the extent that is now true within the United States. There are other areas, however, which are seeking new hotels and the capital with which to build them.
Further information concerning any country's potential for hotel expansion can be obtained from its tourist board or secretary of state. The U. S. Department of State's consular service also prepares reports on the economy of the many nations of the world.— The Editors
