Symptoms of subdural hematoma in infancy are nonspecific. This article suggests ways to make the diagnosis and details the technic for performing a subdural tap. The staff at the Cin cinnati Children's Hospital has had gratifying results with the conservative approach of repeating subdural taps as indicated.
