Abstract
The pertinence of population growth to its operations was recog nized by the American Public Health Association when it devoted the First General Session of its 1964 meeting to a Symposium on "Public Health Programs in Family Plan ning."
The selections here given were extracted almost without change from the 41 papers given at that meeting, as published in a Supple ment to the January 1966 issue of the American Journal of Public Health.
