Abstract
As people turn more and more to water sports it becomes the responsibility of the physician to understand the forms of trauma and disease that can occur when contact is made with inhabitants of the sea. Medical literature on this subject has been sparse ; especially in this country. For this reason a bio logic, toxicologic and therapeutic review of the subject has been made.
