In our last issue we reproduced the full text of the official English version of Mao's important talk on 25 April 1956. We now reproduce below 'excerpts from the first of a series of lectures by what the Peking Radio described as 'the worker-theorist group of the Peking internal combustion engine general works, the Philosophy and Social Sciences Department and the Planned Economy Group of the Institute of Economics' on Mao's work.—EDITOR
