Cette étude se propose d'attirer l'attention sur trois nouvelles approches interdisciplinaires que l'on pratique actuellement dans les facultés et les départements canadiens de sciences des religions et/ou de théologie. Il s'agit de 1) l'utilisation du modèle des associations volontaires dans l'étude de la formation des groupements religieux anciens ; 2) les approches rhétorique et narrative dans l'étude des textes anciens en tant qu'actes de communication et récits ; 3) l'étude de l 'impact des personnages et des récits bibliques dans la culture populaire contemporaine.
