Une présentation et analyse du concept « islamique » d'émancipation de la femme tel que le propose Bint al-Shātī' (1913-1998), Égyptienne spécialiste d'exégèse qur'ānique, permettra d'illustrer sa méthode exégétique. Au terme de cet exercice, certaines difficultés de son interprétation seront relevées, permettant de faire la lumière sur les contradictions que son exégèse, qui se veut à la fois islamique et moderne, ne peut éviter.
