This paper highlights a children's mental health facility's approach to growing waiting lists and constraints on staffing dollars. The process undertaken to streamline service, develop and market a new model of service delivery, and evaluate its effectiveness is presented. Results of the evaluation of the treatment specialty model were most supportive of its implementation.
