Lifelong education as a professional philosophy goes beyond continuing education courses. In occupational therapy, development of a cohesive and coherent lifelong education philosophy would facilitate professional development and growth beyond the focus on undergraduate curricula. Questions to clarify and broaden this concept are raised and recommendations for action are presented.
