Abstract
This article describes the method and the materials required for the construction of a standard bathboard that can be easily adapted (1) to fit various tub widths, (2) to raise seat height whenever getting on and off low surfaces is difficult, (3) to provide needed back support when sitting balance is impaired. These can be done through the addition of standard adjustable supports, raised adjustable supports or a backrest respectively. These adaptations can be constructed beforehand and attached on to the standard bathboard as needed.
