SRSWR and SRSWOR sampling designs have been in use since the time we got to know about these basic designs. Also, relative comparison between the sampling strategies based on these two basic designs has been made and documented in the published literature. We propose to discuss one such interesting comparison made recently by Bagchi and Sinha[8] which may have gone unnoticed. We hope that this article will throw some new light on fascinating and popular comparisons between the two folklore designs and will reduce the admittedly acceptable gap between the two popular strategies based on them.
