The common assumption with binary choice models is that the errors arise from identical Gumbel distributions. This gives rise to the well known logistic model. In this note, we consider the case when the errors have non—identical Gumbel distributions. We derive explicit expressions for distributional properties of the resulting model, consider estimation issues and illustrate an application to some real data.
