A Note on an Optimal Tolerance Region for the Class of Multivariate Elliptically Contoured Location-Scale Model

Abstract

This note uses the prediction distribution offuture response of a class of multivariate elliptic location-scale models to obtain optimal β-expectation tolerance regions for a single future response based on F-distribution and a set of future responses based on a generalized beta distribution.
