Generalised EGD Designs and Orthogonal Factorial Structure

Abstract

In this paper we have introduced a class of block designs termed Generalised Extended Group Divisible (GEGD ⁄ 3"-1) P.B.I.B. design which have orthogonal factorial structure. We have also mtroduced the concept of subfactor balance and shown that a sufficient condition for subfactor balance is that the corresponding block design is a (GEGD⁄ 3"-1) P.B.I.B. design.
