Abstract
We examine the paired comparison model and obtain a class of probability distributions for which the ratio of intrinsic worths of two products remains unaltered irrespective of the lower time truncation point applied to items of both products.
The class of distributions so obtained has been shown to have many nice properties both from the reliability point of view and paired comparison point of view. We also present a characterization result using its within class properties.
