Abstract
Optimal design with respect to any generalissd criterion of type 1 and type 2 has been obtained within the class of equal group incomplete orthogonal arrays (EGIOA) and it has been seen that an EGIOA with n > 2(m -l)q2, | λ1 - λ1 | = 1 and two groups of levels gives the optimal design.
