ABSTRACT:
Properties of Higher Associate Cyclic (HAC) association scheme and its relation to Generalised Cyclic (GC'n) designs and some other similar designs have been studied, Following results have been established : (i) Associatiun schemes involved in GC/n designs are HAC (ii) Any HAC scheme having Jess than the maximum possible number of -associate classes can be obtained only by amalgamating a number of associate classes. (iii) GC/1 designs wiih factorial structure (John 1973b) are isomorphic to GC/2 designs. (iv) Some well known association schemes have been shown to be particular cases of HAC association scheme. (v) A method of construction has been discussed.
