Abstract
The overall A-efficiency based on aU estimable parametric functions [Khatri (1982)) is obtained for equireplicate, equiblocksized connected designs. This makes it possible to have a relationship between the A-efficiency and the efficiency based on average variance of elementary treatment c.ootrasu.
