Abstract
A sequential procedure is proposed and studied for the estimation of an inverse Gaussian parameter having prescribed “proportional closeness”. The construction of problem is in such a manner that the boundedness of expected Joss is equivalent to the estimation of parameter with given “proportional closeness”.
