Abstract
In this paper, results relating to the optimality properties of (i) the Balanced Block Designs and the Linked Block Designs in the one-way elimination of heterogeneity set-up (ii) the Generalized Youden Designs in the two-way elimination of heterogeneity set-up, both under mixed effects models, are presented.
