Abstract
This work considers the problem of estimating proportions corresponding to several confidential characters, which are possibly related and some of which possibly involve more than two categories, from a single sample by applying the randomised response technique. Large sample tests for the independence of the confidential characters have been suggested. Tho effect of wilful mis-statement, if any, has also been studied.
