Abstract
The bounds for the number of treatments common to any set of blocks of a connected (v, b, r, k) design are derived, and earlier published results are shown to be inferior. A new interesting result on dual of a connected (v, b, r, k) desian is obtained. It is further established that for disconnected designs, the earlier result on the bound of identical blocks is incorrect.
