Summary
Kurkjian, Zelen and Federer have given the analysis of a class of incomplete block designs and twoway designs by using their calculus of factorial arrangements. The incidence matrices of the designs considered by them possess a certain structural property ; they refer to it as property (A). They, however, have given only the intrablock or intrarow and column analysis. In this paper, the combined intra and interrow and column analysis of two6way designs possessing property (A) is derived. In addition, explicit expressions for estimates of the interrow and intercolumn variances are also obtained and particular designs where the rows and columns form P.B.I.B or GD designs are also considered for the sake of illustration.
