Summary
The two‐sample (as well as bhe single‐sample) perm utntion tests developed so far, are mostly based on linear permubation statistics. The object of the present invesbigation is to use a class of U‐statistics in various two‐sample problems and to extend the scope of applicability of the permutation tests.
