Abstract
With this number we begin, in the feature Report on Education, a new association. For five years, since the beginning of the Journal, Dr. Rayner has entertained and informed readers in a vigorous and controversial manner with comment on items of interest culled from his reading of educational reports and journals. He has regretfully had to relinquish the task which he has performed during these years with considerable skill and acumen to an appreciative audience. His place is being taken by the staff of the Burwood Teachers' College, who have put together the Report on Education for this number.
