Abstract
A reconstructive procedure was utilized after three-quarter laryngectomy in five patients with transglottic cancers. The physiologic reconstruction was successful in four of the five, and tumor control was 100% in all of the patients. It is concluded that with proper selection patients with transglottic cancers may survive after partial laryngeal surgery.
