A brief review of chronic granulomatous disease, an immunological and clinical entity, is presented. The clinical and laboratory findings are listed and hereditary aspect discussed briefly. The futility of treatment is mentioned. A case is reported in which laryngeal destruction and bronchial obstruction had been due to this disease.
