Coarctation of aorta is frequently associated with severe valvular aortic stenosis. The authors report a case of severe, persistent postoperative coarcta tion of aorta and severe aortic stenosis who was given successful palliative treat ment with percutaneous balloon dilation of both sites of obstruction. This is, to the best of their knowledge, the first report of such an intervention in this group of patients.
