Abstract
This year, the University of Texas String Project celebrated fifty years of providing teacher training and promoting the development of young talent. The UT String Project is a model program for teacher training and provides valuable outreach by developing young talent through private lessons and group classes. Realizing the potential generated from such a program, other string project programs have been started across the country.
