Abstract
It is impossible to discuss adequately a basic approach to ensemble, rhythm, nuance, and intonation in chamber music for the string student within the limits of one column. I shall devote myself to the element of ensemble for this issue and should interest from our readers warrant it proceed to a like discussion and illustration of an approach to the elements of rhythm, nuance, and intonation in future issues.
