Through proper planning, faculty and students can co operate in building an extensive collection of citations and abstracts for mechanized retrieval and subsequent use in faculty and student research. Dr. William A. Welsh, Assist ant Professor of Political Science at the University of Geor gia and Director of Georgia's Polrtrcal Data Analysis Center, describes the program underway within his department.
