Abstract
The gendered nature of human experience influences the interpretation of most life events and human processes. Men and women experience life differently. How does gender affect the development of theology or the practice of spirituality? In particular, what is the impact of embodiment on the development of theology or spirituality? As this article suggests, narrative research provides rich data for understanding the interface between human embodiment and spirituality.
