El presente estudio pone de manifiesto la necesidad de diferenciar entre diversos dominios o ámbitos de interacción para un mejor conocimiento de las relaciones intergrupales. La conceptualización unidimensional de la intención conductual como mera intimidad impide la consideración de otros ámbitos tan importantes, socialmente hablando, como el laboral, educativo, sanitario, político y privado. Asimismo, se aprecia un efecto de la ansiedad intergrupalen la intención conductual, medida a través de distintas subescalas.
