A course of auricular acupuncture treatment was performed on 78 patients with stage I-II essential hypertension. A control group of 20 underwent sham electro-stimulation. The analysis according to multiple criteria showed reduced symptoms (by 53±1.8%) and drug consumption (by 63±3.1%).
