A projection of the whole body can be mapped on the ear such that areas of musculo-skeletal pain may be accurately predicted according to the position of tender spots on the ear. Auriculo-therapy is particularly effective for the relief of pain, but it is also indicated for the treatment of allergic, gastro-intestinal and psychiatric problems, and addictions.
