Abstract
Most recreational sports programs tend to discontinue programming during the last weeks of a semester to avoid distractions with academic exams. The last few weeks of s semester are viewed as a time to study and pursue final exams. However, the purpose of a recreational sport program is to offer a college student the opportunity to balance academics with healthy activities. As such, recreational sport programming is very important in the final weeks of school as a healthy alternative to the stress of final exams. Finals Finish is a recreational sport program offered at Western Michigan University that offers students the opportunity to study in a healthy atmosphere. This program presents students with the opportunity to study and recreate at the same time and in the same facility. This article outlines the program, and offers suggestions of how this program might be included on any college campus.
