The Wine of the Month Club had its beginnings in the purchase of a Los Angeles pharmacy and has grown into a national 16,000-member business. In this interview, Paul H. Kalemkiarian, Sr. discusses the origins of the business and its transition to his son, Paul Jr.—the family and financial considerations as well as the cultural implications. Paul I.
