The Editor and the Chairman of the IHS Scientific Committee announce the 2009 Cephalalgia Lecture Award. This award is for the best paper on headache, submitted to the Journal for the award by 30 May 2009. The recipient of this award will receive €10,000 and will be asked to present the paper at the 14th Congress of the International Headache Society (IHS), being held 10–13 September 2009 in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Philadelphia, PA, USA.
To be considered for this award, applicants are invited to submit a manuscript to the Journal on-line, with a cover letter, and to flag by email (cephalalgia@ion.ucl.ac.uk) intention that the paper should be considered for the award. In order to be considered for the award, the paper must include new data, and may be concerned with basic research, clinical studies, or both.
The paper should be prepared in accordance with the ‘Author Guidelines’ as published in the journal Cephalalgia. All entries will become the property of Cephalalgia and may be published in the Journal at the decision of the Editor-in-Chief.
The Journal reserves the right not to make an award should no suitable paper be submitted.
