Despite agreeing with one of my main points and ignoring the other two, Marsh and Rhodes find fault with my ‘Evaluating Thatcher’. This reply shows that I did not treat Marsh and Rhodes unfairly, that they now misrepresent both their 1992 article and my contribution, and that their evaluation of Thatcher is still open to criticism.
