Hand and Wrist Problems in Primary Care

Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders account for 15–20% of GP consultations and cause a significant amount of morbidity and disability. This article covers a selection of hand and wrist problems that either commonly present to the GP or are rather more rare but important, and provides a management strategy for each.
