Testicular Disorders

Abstract

The testes are the male gonads and have dual reproductive and endocrine functions, both producing spermatozoa and synthesizing testosterone. Male patients can present at any age with testicular disorders and are usually worried and embarrassed. Superficially, testicular disorders may present in similar ways. However, an understanding of the anatomy and good history and examination can usually identify the underlying problem.
