Abstract
The aim of any endourologic intervention is complete stone clearance in short hospital stay with minimal morbidity. Among the various approaches the utility of multiple tracts for complete stone clearance is described. In this video we demonstrate the technique with the help of a live access with animations. In this video, we demonstrate the technique of Multiperc with animations. The principle is an ultrasound-guided access at the outset. After assessing the intrarenal anatomy and its relation to the stone, all the punctures are done. The tract dilatation is done with coaxial dilators and stone bulk cleared. If the nephroscopy time exceeds 90 min, a malecot catheter is placed and the remaining bulk cleared in the next stage. The access at this point is gained fluoroscopy. In the same video we also allude to the use of flexible instrumentation to ensure complete stone clearance.
