Abstract
Abstract
The case is a 28-year-old woman with multiple recurrent papillary thyroid cancer, whose sole remaining site of known disease in the upper mediastinum was inaccessible through a cervical incision due to scar from previous operations. This brachiocephalic lymph node was removed safely and completely at a subsequent transthoracic robotic procedure with minimal impact on the patient. The operative technique and pathology are reviewed.
