ABSTRACT
The purpose of this report is to present the operative techniques and clinical characteristics for two children, aged 5 and 6 years, in whom laparoscopic adrenalectomy was performed. A virilizing adrenal adenoma and a ganglioneuroma were removed by use of a lateral approach. The operative times were 90 and 75 min, respectively. Both children were discharged home on the second postoperative day. Careful patient selection allows safe and effective removal of the adrenal gland in children.
