Abstract
Endocrine factors are believed to play a role in hereditary angioedema (HAE). The case is presented of a prepubertal boy with diagnosed HAE who developed a spontaneous remission at puberty. This finding may be of value when considering the prognostic outcome for prepubertal males with HAE.
